To Cancel your remote appearance
By canceling you are indicating you will not appear remotely. Your Court Hearing will move forward.
- Click on Activity on the VCourt Remote Appearance home page.
- Login to the remote appearance system.
- Locate the scheduled remote appearance you would like to cancel from the list and select Cancel Appearance.
- Confirm your cancellation.
Remote Appearance Refunds
Cancellation requests must be made before 9:00 AM or the start time of your appearance, whichever comes first. If you cancel your appearance, a refund of $22.50 will be credited back to your account.
Pursuant to Local Rule 10.24:
A $5 cancellation fee is to be charged if a party cancels a remote appearance request.
Exceptions to the cancellation fee:
- If your hearing is taken off calendar or continued by the court, you may reschedule your appearance and request a refund of the cancellation fee.
If you feel you are entitled to also receive a refund of the $5.00 fee or a refund of any fees not automatically granted, you must submit your request in writing to the court to:

Please include the case name and number, attorney name, address where the refund should be sent, receipt number, original date of payment, amount of refund being requested and a reason for the refund. Refund requests must be sent within 30 days of the original date of payment. Letters may include more than one case for which a refund is being requested. Any refunds resulting from a written request will be issued in the form of a check.
